Who Receives Text Alerts

Brother's Keeper sends transactional text alerts only to our own administrators and senior admin who opt in. We do not send SMS alerts to responders, peer specialists, or anyone else.

Opt-in is voluntary and explicit: an administrator opts in by checking an unchecked consent box in Admin Account Settings or during admin invitation setup. Opt-in is never pre-checked and is never a condition of any purchase.

Message Types

Admin approval requests — a short notice that an item needs the senior admin's review (for example, a pending peer application, credential submission, skill verification, or testimonial approval).
Duty to Act safety-protocol alerts — an urgent notice that a Duty to Act protocol has been initiated and requires immediate attention.

What Messages Never Contain

Messages never contain conversation content, session transcripts, or personal health details. An alert includes only the request type and a non-sensitive summary, plus secure, single-use action links.

Consent Wording

At opt-in, the following consent is presented and the administrator must check it to enroll:

"I agree to receive transactional text alerts from Brother's Keeper about administrative approvals and safety alerts. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. See our Privacy Policy and Terms."

Sample Message

An example of an alert message:

"Brother's Keeper: An item needs your review. Approve: [link] Deny: [link] Investigate: [link]. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

Opt Out & Help

STOP: Reply STOP to any message to opt out of SMS alerts at any time.
HELP: Reply HELP for support information.
You may also opt out by removing your phone number in Admin Account Settings.
Opting out of SMS does not affect in-app dashboard alerts.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Data & Sharing

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are used only to deliver these transactional alerts. They are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
